Alfajores are two soft, melt-in-your-mouth biscuits with a generous layer of dulce de leche between them, sometimes coated in chocolate, sometimes rolled in coconut. A staple of Argentine bakeries, lunchboxes, road trips, birthday tables, and 4pm snack breaks for over a hundred years.

Ours are baked gluten free without losing what makes them sacred. If you grew up with these, you'll recognise them. If you never tried them, this is the right place to start.
